Ministry of Justice knocks out 100 companies but fails to put the boot in
So the Claims Management Regulator, Ministry of Justice, has just knocked out its 100th company for misleading claims that debt can be written off as unenforceable, high pressure selling and cold calling. Why did they not name and shame the top 100? That looks like a pretty good incentive to make some of these crooks think twice about mis-leading and duping Jo Public!
Wonder if I should apply for a job with the MoJ and get my steel cap boots on to sort out these con artists?

UK unemployment figures for July 2009
Job vacancies are down, unemployment is up, what a horrible situation with so many people losing their security, income and many tell me self respect.
The younger generation has been particularly hard hit with those in the age group 18 - 24 claiming for over 6 months now standing at 77,800.
Those who have been out of work for more than a year now number 528,000, the highest for 11 years.
I do worry how these people will motivate themselves into getting back to work as many will drop into depression or turn to alcohol, gambling or even crime in an attempt to solve their debt problems.
From experience many will not address their debt issues for well over a year from when they first arose and will often ignore the fact that they have a serious debt problem growing everyday, some will take even longer.
Lenders also need to be more understanding and sympathetic towards borrowers who find themselves suddenly out of work and take note when someone is a ‘can’t payer’ instead of a ‘won’t payer’.
