I took out a gym membership and paid cash upfront for the year. dispite having a confimation from the company that a, they are aware of my cancellation and b, a letter stating that my membership is cancelled (dated over a month before the end of the membership year) I am now being chased fo rarrears by a debt management company acting on their behalf !!Question... how canI be in arrears if a years membership was paid upfront and if like they say i did not give a notice of cancellation why have i a letter saying that i should keep the cancellation letter as proof of termination. Gymmembership is one big confusing maze and in my opinion a rip off to customers
