Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors (CCLS) who specialise in unenforceable credit agreements has been shut down by their regulator the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
The firm based in Manchester advised Cartel Client Review and their clients on the viability of challenging unenforceable credit agreements.
Cartel Client Review is one of many firms that have sprung up over the past few years offering their services to consumers by challenging the enforceability of consumer credit agreements, such as credit cards and personal loans, as well as claiming for the refund of mis-sold financial policies such as payment protection insurance (PPI).
These services do not come with guarantees, nor are they cheap with a usual fee of £495 per agreement.
Interestingly Cartel Client Review is under a separate investigation by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
Those customers that have signed up for the services of Cartel Client Review are being advised to get in contact with them to see if they arrange alternative legal advice or to find a new solicitor to take over their current case.
