Mike Thomas is to feature on The Sun's new online radio station, Sun Talk on Friday 1st May 2009.

Former TalkSport host, Sun columnist and three golds Sony award winner Jon Gaunt is the senior presenter of SunTalk, which launched on 20 April 2009 which broadcasts live online between 10am and 1pm, Monday to Friday. The first guest was Tory leader David Cameron.

Other guests will be Sun columnists such as agony aunt Deidre and TV critic Ally Ross and sports commentator Ian McGarry will also feature on the programme.

Jon told Mike at the press launch on 23 March 2009, that they intend to make the show less time-sensitive, so there will be no time checks, news and weather, any travel news or the normal radio style breaks for adverts. Sun Talk is more multi-platform and interactive rather than just a traditional radio station and Mike was very impressed with the new million pound multimedia suite with its two TV studios, both with editing areas, a sound proofed radio studio, a green room, make up area and another studio which will provide a live link to the Sky headquarters in West London.

If you would rather use your MP3 player then you can download the show, connect it up to your stereo and listen whenever you like.

You will also be able to listen on internet radio, just search for SunTalk.

All the shows will be available to download 24 hours a day, seven days a week through The Sun's pop-up player which will enable live streams, Listen Later functionality, podcasts and vodcasts
